Cherry Blossom Scarf

Trees are flowering around LA: it's like Spring already. This reminded me of a knitting project I finished last year. I call it my cherry blossom scarf, although it has white "flowers" rather than pink ones.

The yarn is by Habu Textiles: 3 skeins of the novelty yarn a-28. I knit it on on size 17 needles. It was really slippery and a bit tricky to work with -- so it is more square than I wanted, but you can't really rip it back, because that pulls out the little white dots.

It clings to my black dress, so I don't really wear it much; it just sits wadded up in a bowl, looking pretty.
