So I went to F&S Fabrics and bought some new ribbon. I cut off the beads and jewels and then sewed the new ribbon on by hand, so as not to interfere with the leaf pattern. Here is the result. I'm quite fond of it, really.

Cardie.
My latest sewing project, of sorts. I bought this cardigan from B&Lu: it was on a great sale and I thought it was pretty. Except for the ribbon. Not only did it look sort of cheap, but there are those fake jewels on it. Um, no thanks.

Very nice! I love how you can look at something that's almost great and change it to be just what you wanted all along! Say. . .how about that dress you want me to make-have you sent it yet?
