I've made these cookies twice in the last week. They are so good. Sort of like gingerbread men, but really moist and chewy. And rolled in crunchy sugar before you bake them, so they have some body. These could well be my ideal cookie.
(N.B. If you make them: I took the advice of posters and used 1 c. brown and 1 c. white sugar. And added a little more molasses. Also, I only added cinnamon and ginger, because I couldn't find my ground cloves.)
