I was recently browsing about, as I am wont, and I found this wonderful food blog: Smitten Kitchen.
While reading her archives, I found a mention of one of the best sounding ice creams ever: roasted banana. This is her picture of the bananas roasting. How much do you want to make this?
If you are me, the answer is: an absolutely insane amount.
Luckily for me, I found the recipe posted online in an interview with the creator of the recipe: David Lebovitz. So hopefully soon I will be making this. The lovely thing is, it's not even that bad for you, as ice creams go. Mostly milk.
