I made this for my sister for Christmas:
It is a scarf made from 2 skeins of Karabella Boise in cream, knit on #9 needles. Inspired by Alterknits, I knit it in a tube (so it's stockinette all around). I had thought about putting fabric through the tube (as suggested by Leigh Radford) but it just didn't really look very good.
It is so soft -- like putting kittens around your neck. I was highly tempted to keep it for myself.
The yarn came from the 1/2 price room at Wildfiber in Santa Monica.
